Senior Consultant - MS Exchange/Active Directory

For this position, you will assess, design, and lead migrations of clients from their current systems to a new, large enterprise system using Microsoft Exchange 2007. This opportunity is with a leading IT outsourcing company that provides infrastructure management services, application services, systems integration, and consulting services, as well as the procurement and management of hardware and software. This is a remote position, and you may reside anywhere within the West Coast Region, but Northern California is preferred because the majority of clients are located in this area. You will work out of your home office and travel up to 50% of the time.

• 5+ years related work experience
  
• Experience in Project Management
  
• Experience with consultancy, vendor, or large enterprises
  
• Experience with multi-domain active directory security architectures
  
• Experience with Clustered Exchange 2003/2007 architecture, design/migration, and troubleshooting
  
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 5.5 2000/2003/2007, Active Directory, Windows Server 2000/2003, and Windows 2000/XP
  
• Experience with high-availability architecture design (clusters, SAN, failover systems, disaster recovery sites, data replication)
  
• Experience with DNS Services, DHCP Services, WINS, ISA 2004, IIS Server, and Cluster Server
  
• Experience within a large scale Windows Enterprise
  
• Experience working as a team leader within a process/project-oriented organization
  
• Experience with project plan development and resource estimation
  
• Experience working with vendors
  
• Knowledge of setting domain policies, Group Policy, site definition, replication, and trusts (Active Directory)
  
• Ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gather team consensus to move forward
  
• Solid customer facing and technical skills
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
  
• Experience with migrations from GroupWise or Lotus Notes to Exchange 2000/2003/2007 is preferred
  
• Familiarity with Veritas NetBackup, Backup Exec, SAN Technology, and Blackberry Servers is a plus
