Senior GIS Application Developer-AnalystOxnard CADescription:Minimum Requirements:* Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline* Five years direct GIS experience administrating and developing with ESRI software (ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Desktop)* Ability to install, administer and tune GIS server software, to include creating and publishing map services* Ability to create GIS applications and perform systems integration with enterprise applications* Experience in Microsoft .NET development platforms* Preferred experience with GeoMicro AltaMap Server* Preferred experience with Oracle Portal technologies* Familiarity with Windows Server OS, CITRIX, and Web application deployment methodologies* Solid understanding of relational database management systems* Advanced analytical and problem solving skills* Ability to obtain a DoD security clearanceDuties and Responsibilities:* Provide GIS software administration, tuning and technical support for applications residing on an enterprise hosting environment.* Develop automated GIS applications.* Deploy and install GIS application software deliverables and patches.* Support GIS application access and account requests.* Design and write application installation / administration utilities and scripts.* Respond to ad-hoc requests for GIS development support.* Prepare and maintain user documentation related to GIS applications on an enterprise hosting environment.* Responsible for testing of GIS web applications and supporting software.* Available for domestic travel as required.* Other duties as assigned.df-tc
