Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and the Senior Executive of the business entity, responsible to ensure IT operations and strategies are appropriate to support the business strategies. Work with business entity senior management to encourage process and technology deployment to improve business results. Lead application development for the technology components that are essential and unique for the business entity while leveraging technology from other business operations where appropriate. Perform all duties assigned by the CIO and Senior Executive. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are followed at all times. Ensure that no company, employee, or customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules from the Corporate Office and Chief Information Officer. Maintain a good flow of communication with business entity management and within the Corporation.

2. Develop a keen understanding of the business entity process, operational environment, customer needs and business drivers.

3. Develop and integrate an IT strategy that enables delivery of entity business objectives.

4. Provide applications to support IT key strategies of scalable, reliable, available, agile, speed, functional, and cost effective.

5. Establish appropriate dashboards, quality focus and process improvement disciplines necessary to sustain operational improvements.

6. Establish metrics, including service level agreements, with our business partners to deliver appropriate service levels. Ensure accountability and execution necessary to support the business entity.

7. Develop budgets, capital costs and staffing levels necessary to accomplish the business entity technology objectives.

8. Lead and champion the deployment eBusiness initiatives for the business entity.

9. Lead the analysis of new technologies and operational process improvements that will improve the business operations.

10. Work closely with the IT infrastructure, architecture and eBusiness functions to align initiatives and activities that will provide highly functional and reliable products and services.


11. Work with other IT functions to establish smooth transition of new tools and functionality into production.

12. Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.

13. Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise Facilities of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately.

14. Make sure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately.

Job Qualifications:

Educational Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree in Business or a technical discipline is required along with at least five (5) years of experience in the automotive or a related industry. Strong business insight, thorough understanding of technology and the ability to balance strategic and tactical initiatives required. Must be a proven and effective manager and communicator.df-tc
