Senior Manager PeopleSoft Systems
The ERP Applications team responsible for Implementing and Supporting PeopleSoft Financial, Supply Chain Management and HCM systems. The individual will be responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining a PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain System. This position is responsible for functional and technical implementation, support and maintenance of PeopleSoft Applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Brings extensive knowledge of at least one Axapta or Peoplesoft Financials module (GL, AP, AR, Billing, Asset Management, Cash Management, Expenses, Payroll Interface, Project Costing, Planning & Budgeting, or Financial Warehouse) gained through leadership or detailed participation in an enterprise implementation.
  • Experience with functional and technical design of various enhancements
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft Application Architecture and the various integration points
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes
  • Coordinates operational resources for User Acceptance Testing
  • Consults with business unit management and personnel to obtain additional information during system development and helps to evaluates alternatives to systems modifications
  • Tracks and documents changes to functional an business specifications

    Experience/Skills
    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in financial (GL, AP, AR, Activity / Project Management, Asset Management) and Supply (PO, Requisition, Inventory Control), data conversion and migration, interface design, and best practice implementation.
  • Strong functional and technical understanding of PeopleSoft Financial Modules
  • Experience with PeopleTools, Application Engine, App Messaging, SQR and nVision
  • Develop and maintain Integrated task plan for all enhancement requests and communicate with end user community
  • Manage project issues related to Scope Change, Resource and Time Constraints
  • Identify project risks in advance and proactively Mitigate these risks with appropriate steps (Business impact, alternative options, pros/cons, recommendations)
  • Mentor and provide on-project learning opportunity for team members
  • Create a robust Development and Delivery Standards
  • Understand company direction to design systems that will support key initiatives
  • Manage and deploy deliverable through a phased methodology

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • BA/BS from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business administration, business operations/information systems management, computer science or related field
  • 8 years experience in Financial Systems Implementation Support, systems planning, implementation, maintenance, reporting, and/or problem diagnosis; or any equivalent combination of experience.
