Job Function:

This person will be part of a special team that will come in and asess our clients Database Environment. They will be leading a team of support Oracle and SQL DBA's and will be in charge of looking at the environment and identifying efficiency problems and correcting them by implementing new processes and procedures. They will be in charge documentation, assisting in writing scripts and looking at the clients current labor force for the production environment. Needs to be a strong leader with excellent communication and written skills.



Skills and Experience:

Need to have both Oracle and SQL Skills (Heavier on the Oracle Side)

Oracle 8i and 9i Experience is a must

Experience in a large production environment
The client has a large number of Application Support Databases so any experience with Application Support would be a plus

Will be leading a team of 3 support DBA's (2 Oracle, 1 SQL)
