We are looking for a Sr. RF Technician to do the following:

Must be able to perform a wide variety of technical functions in an engineering lab environment and in the field support / customer service disciplines. These functions include the set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing and troubleshooting of electronic or Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. Radio / RF Technician background with base station and mobile radio experience required. Must be willing to travel to support system prototype installations, engineering evaluations, site surveys and system troubleshooting. Must be able to write test procedures or instructional guides for the installation, repair and maintenance of equipment and systems. The ability to use windows operating systems, spreadsheet applications and word processing programs is required. Familiarity with drawing packages such as, Auto-cad, View Logic, PowerPoint or Visio is desirable. Technical training equivalent to an Associate Degree and six to seven years of related work experience as an electronic technician are preferred.
Seven years of related experience Knowledge of Word, Excel and Windows preferred. Understand basic theory of antenna near field range and far field range as well as EMI/EMC test chamber. Hands on experiences on common RF test equipment. Capable to operate antenna ranges (including near field range and far field range) independently. Ability to check/assess the test facility/equipment to recommend necessary calibration/maintenance to meet its designed performance. Ability to perform basic calibration/maintenance for antenna range and EMI/EMC chamber independently, Ability to maintain/control a facility schedule for efficient use of the facilities, able to design/recommend necessary GSE for proper testing, understand basic theory of antenna near field range and far field range as well as EMI/EMC test chamber.
All other duties as assigned.
