Senior Windows Administrator

Summary
We are seeking a successful candidate to be a member of the Windows and Unix Systems team. This team and will be responsible for day to day operations, maintenance, planning and growth of internal and external production Windows Server environments.


Responsibilities:

Maintain health, availability, and backups of Active Directory 2003 and Exchange 2003 as well as IIS and SQL on internal and external Windows 2000 and 2003 servers
Work in a team environment, handle escalations from Help Desk personnel, and create automation in proprietary and open source scripting languages
Have general responsibility for providing support for the corporate LAN/WAN as well as customer network services and assisting the Network team.
Requirements:


At least 7 years experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent industry experience.
Must have proven proficiency in a proprietary scripting language such as VBScript; Scripting in an open source scripting languages such as Python or Perl and using source control a plus.
History of working with remote administration and command line systems administration of Windows environments with open source and proprietary tools.
Skilled in using a software distribution system (e.g., Patchlink, Altiris or Microsoft RIS or ADS) and creating silent, scripted installations.
Prior experience in working in an on-call pager rotation and occasional after hours work to address emergencies with production equipment.
Extensive experience in administration of Windows XP, 2000, Active Directory 2000/2003, Exchangedf-tc
