Description
My client has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to help develop, maintain, and documents web software components. The candidate will provide training and guidance to technical personnel. Interfaces with other organizations to define requirements and guide them through the development process for new or enhanced generic web engines and tools that satisfy requirements of multiple organizations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, document web software components
Interface with organizations to define requirements and schedules for technologies.
Provide maintenance support and assist with updates to existing web technologies
Provide training and guidance to technical personnel on web technologies
Professional development
Interface with external vendors to coordinate integration of technologies
Research third-party technologies for application to internal requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Position requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Computer Science degree
is preferred. Position requires three to five years experience or equivalent expertise.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
These specific skills are necessary for this position: Expertise in server-side web application development
languages such as Java, JSP, EJB, Servlets, SQL, C++, Perl, and ASP. Proficiency with web site design via HTML,
DHTML and JavaScript, Action Script and an expertise with client technologies such as IE, Netscape browsers and
Win32 development, as well as server technologies such as WinNT, IIS, SQL Server, UNIX, Linux, Oracle, and
Netscape Enterprise Server. Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards such as HTTP and of web authoring
tools such as Shockwave and Flash is desirable.df-tc
