Description
C++ Unix DeveloperResponsibilities:Understand user/business requirements and translate them into system design/technical specifications which are in line with published technology and design standards and specifications, to facilitate software development. Understand the business domain to better model business data, data access for applications in the enterprise. Understand database models and make system enhancements and modifications to support EAI requirements across the enterprise and across disparate technologies/applications. Design, develop and maintain C++/XSLT/XML components using the principles of OOAD and distributed computing. Analyze and create development test scenarios/infrastructure to test the implemented functionality. Unit testing of software modules/packages. Integration testing, Stress and Stability testing of the application as a whole to ensure the complete application suite supports the complete user requirements as well as performance and stability requirements. Diagnoses and trouble shooting of issues discovered during testing or post production. Training of user and peer group on the new functionality and its impact on the system and process. Skills3-5 Years experience programming in a C++/Unix environment. Very strong in programming in a multi threaded, distributed environment. Very strong in XML technologies with hands on experience in DTD/XSD design, XML parsing (SAX and DOM) and XSLT in a C++ environment. Knowledge of RDBMS concepts with exposure to Oracle/Pro C preferred. Knowledge of EAI concepts with exposure to IBM MQ in a C++ environment.
