Description
State Agency in Charlotte is currently seeking a short term (estimated at 280 hours) experienced Solaris Administrator contractor to replace an individual in the Server Administration Department that will be out on extended leave; minimum of 12 weeks. The individual selected will be expected to perform normal Solaris Administrative tasks that include planning, installation and maintenance of the Solaris 9 and 10 operating systems. This individual will be working on the project to install Solaris 10 with containers on multiple hardware systems that will be used for Disaster Recovery purposes at a second location. This person will be expected to work with other non-technical staff on existing and up coming projects as directed by the manager, and to assist the current Solaris Administrator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements.
Required:
Individual must be certified in Sun Solaris 9 or 10.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to interact effectively with other technical and non-technical personnel.
