The Solutions Architect will be the coordinating point to guide the evolution of technology in support of our strategic business units. He/she will collaborate with counterparts to ensure that our technology evolution fits within the context of the larger solutions and to influence solutions-wide business technology and architectural decisions. This is to ensure that technology investments made by the Company are leveraging our internal technology assets and are being optimized as per the defined technology strategy roadmap.

This solutions architect will lead critical efforts to expand the value of the Company Solutions Architecture including:
Influencing direction for IS budget for the assigned LOB (could be $10MM+)
Maintaining relationships and servicing LOB clients (10+)
Maintaining relationships and partnering with internal IS staff (10+)
Performing analysis by considering multiple factors & drawing logical conclusions before applying business solutions. Identify evolving business trends & their potential impact on technology requirements. Present recommendations to decision-makers both within IS and the business units.
Developing effective relationships with technology and business leaders and managers throughout the organization to develop and communicate business technology and architecture frameworks to support strategic business directions.
Translating technical information into understandable terms for customers. Convey complex ideas & plans in writing at a level appropriate to the audience.
Partner with appropriate organizations within and outside of Information Systems to provide consulting services on emerging and cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to our customers.

Experience/Skills
Requirements:
Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills. Must have the ability to interact with and communicate ideas and recommendations succinctly to senior executive management within Information Systems and the Line of Business.
Must be able to interact with customers, peers, & all levels of division, department, and system management to resolve issues and complete project objectives.
Experience in either internal or external consulting. ]
At least 7-10 of years of business experience with at least 5 years work experience in a wide array of technology including applications, communications, operating systems, hardware, database and information structures.
Experience within the Financial or related industry is preferred.
Master's/Advanced degree preferred

Candidate Must Have :
in depth experience with technology including applications development, communications, OS, DB, etc; Must have excellent communication skills with strong consultative experience
