In addition to possessing STRONG verbal communication skills, our Splicing Technicians must be able to perform the following tasks:
Cable & Fiber Optics Installation & Repair
Ability to splice pairs of conductors by hand
Pole climbing (Stepped/Unstepped)
Ability to read schematic drawings
Experience with Mechanical/Diesel Equipment

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit)
Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Valid California/Nevada driver's license
Non-negligent driving record
Ability to hear test and set tones
Able to perceive differences in wire and cable color

Additionally, minimum qualifying score on employment tests will be required.
