Description
Our Corporate Headquarters has an opportunity for a skilled professional to join our IT staff as a Sr. Analyst Programmer, who will design, develop, test, maintain and support the Mainframe and Web-based applications for a variety of business applications. The selected individual will interact with both business and IT Associates on all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and application support.

Specific responsibilities include:

Gather and document end-user requirements, use cases, test scripts and procedures

Perform program/system design to satisfy end-user requirements or resolve issues

Develop and maintain programs, establish and execute unit test plans, and implement modules into production based on established procedures

Prepare and execute System and Integration test plans in addition to support of User Acceptance Testing

Define, document and execute Disaster Recovery test plans

Provide off hours support as needed of application systems

Provide operational support of key applications.

Experience:

3 to 5 years experience as a Mainframe Cobol / CICS Developer

Minimum 2 years experience with DB2

Experience in Web development using .Net a plus

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

Self starter with strong initiative

Experience in Supply Chain applications a plus

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fielddf-tc
