Description
This position is with a consumer products manufacturer. As Sr. Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for design and development of new embedded electronics devices and software projects from conceptualization through production. Some responsibilities include: investigating new technologies, methods and test procedures; acting as a leader in teamwork development tasks; providing input on product technical specifications; implementing new product designs including analog and digital hardware and embedded software; preparing test and validation plans; estimating task durations and BOM-s; and working with outside consultants, suppliers and contract manufacturers as needed. Experience/Skills
Education: BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Masters degree is a plus.

Required Skills: 5+ years of embedded systems knowledge and experience in an R&D environment; software development experience; electronics design and development experience; electronics education; experience and/or knowledge with C/C++, ANSU, UL, CSA, NEMA and IEC standards, CAD/CAE usage; technical writing skills; and strong communication skills both oral and written.
