Sr. Network VoIP EngineerLocation: San Diego, CaJob Description:Currently, we are seeking an experienced VoIP Engineer for an employee/perm positionThe VoIP engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and administration of a regionally dispersed VoIP network. Additional responsibilities may include LAN/WAN, Network Management, Security, or other network related activities. Responsibilities: * Responsible for providing support and architectural design for VoIP telephony infrastructure * Responsibilities will periodically include tier 4 support for operational issues for VoIP, traditional voice and data systems * As a Cisco IPCC Engineer you will be responsible for the technical leadership, architectural design, project management, and deployment of Cisco IPCC solutions * Position will lead technical projects to reduce cost, improve service or provide innovative business solutions consistent with the business strategies * responsible for the engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrade of the companies VoIP deployment, supporting applications and network hardware * installation of Cisco IPCC software, hardware setup & testing, remote monitoring, scripting, and integration with other enterprise applications * Exceed customer expectations Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years of experience performing VoIP design and architecture, general telephony engineering, and technical project management * CCNP CCVP - Cisco Call Manager - 2 years (Designing and architecting the enterprise) - Cisco Unity - 2 years (Managing and administrating the enterprise) * PBX Experience n++ Preferably Nortel Meridian voicemail * Experience with multi-site configurations in system engineering and administration role within Fortune 1000 companies * 3 years experience with voice infrastructures design and support in a Cisco environment * Cisco IPCC, Cisco IP-IVR configuration and Scripting experience, CISCO ICM/IPCC Scripting Experience * Cisco Call Manager is a must * Self-starter with excellent organization, administrative, interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal skills are a plusdf-tc
