Sr. QA Analyst/Tester

The analyst considered for a position within this group should be experienced in all aspects of test operations, from requirement elicitation and analysis, to functional test design, to test analysis and reporting. The QA Analyst must demonstrate practical experience in web testing techniques and technologies. The analyst should be familiar with structured test techniques and must not have been an ad hoc tester only.

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Plans, develops and coordinates testing activities including Test Plan creation, Test Case creation, debugging, execution, test analysis, and coordination of test resources for strategic software applications.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of functional testing techniques and strategies.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of unit testing techniques and strategies
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of web testing techniques and web testing strategies
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of test analysis and design
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of analyzing test results and the creation of appropriate test metrics
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the defect management process.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of quality assurance and/or software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share that knowledge with peers, and project team members.
  • MUST have tested inside a web environment and
  • MUST have EXTENSIVE knowledge of SQL as a developer or tester
