We are currently seeking a lead developer for a contract to hire opportunity.

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

An individual performing this role is also responsible for:
. Manage the workload and deliverables of individuals performing the role of technical development.
. Assist with the creation of the detailed design through generation of object models and sequence diagrams.
. Plan the detailed development tasks and deliverables needed to build the system components.
. Supervise and review code of other developers.
. Coordinate the component integration test.
. Assist with technical design deliverables required to build the application or service.
. Develop system components and deliverable documents.
. Conduct unit tests on individual components.
. Identify, escalate, and resolve incidents and issues.
. Participate in peer technical reviews.

Experience/Skills
Required:
5 - 7 yrs Technical RDMS development experience. Can create and test table structures, indexes, views, etc. Can optimize data performance.

Experience with data acquisition and delivery, ETL (Data extract, transformation and loading). Can provide efficient design and construction of systems and subsystems to extract, condition and load data from operational systems and other sources into a defined physical data model, according to business and technical requirements. Ability to query data using SQL.

Must be able to lead and instruct multiple Technical Developers on mulitiple projects or enhancements. Must be deadline oriented, able to identify risks and resolve issues. Need strong communictation skills. Strong knowledge of reference data management.

Desired:
Knowledge of data warehousing principlas.
Teradata experience or certification is desireable. Familiarity with The W, Teradata and other data repositories used by our Technology and Business partners.
Knowledge of Corporate/ Commercial Loan products, Commercial Deposit products, Treasury Management products or Investment Banking products.
