Description
Dimension & Scope:

This position sources, screens, and interviews mostly non-exempt candidates according to Convergys’ recruitment policies while communicating those policies to staff members.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

-Reviews applications and resumes and phone screens potential candidates.
-Conducts reference checks and pre-employment drug screens.
-Develops applicant flow for non-exempt positions.
-Maintains applicant and resume tracking systems, supervising and some times performing the accurate and timely input of data.
-Interviews job candidates, scheduling qualified candidates for additional interviews with hiring manager.
-Create and update local recruiting reports.
-Attend and/or implement job fairs.
-Work with internal HRIS systems.

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from a four-year college or university.

Candidate Profile:

-Zero to three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
-Experience managing functional groups.
-Good oral and written communication skills.
-Must be able to work independent of direct supervision.
-Must be well organized and detail oriented.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing business environment.
