May perform one or more of the following:

Operate and maintain the LAN's Tivoli Storage Manager environment. Operate data communication systems. Plan, design and implement networked systems, including configurations, and supports/troubleshoots network problems. Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues as they arise. Support a variety of complex desktop applications including: Rational Suite Development Studio, Oracle 10g client, Tivoli Storage Manager. Experienced installing, maintaining, and administering Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, and Windows Server 2003; troubleshoot a complex client/server network environment; support a variety of Microsoft productivity applications including Microsoft Office 2000, Visio 2002, Project 2000; and be proficient with general TCP/IP networking, Cisco network hardware. Build and maintain Windows 2003/XP workstations, Windows 2000-Advanced servers and Windows Server 2003 machines. Deploy and Maintain web applications across multiple environments. Manage junior level Systems Administrators and delegate tasks. Take appropriate corrective action, interface with vendors, carriers, clients and ACS' staff as necessary.

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Technologies considered a plus (can be learned on the job): Netegrity SiteMinder, F5 Big IP Switch, Oracle 9i & 10g database servers, Documentum eRoom Server V7.2, and Antivirus software.


Certifications considered a plus: MCSA, MCSE, or any Cisco.
