WE NEED AN ENGINEER TO HELP US SET UP A SYSTEM THAT WILL ALLOW TECHNICIANS TO REMOTELY DIAGNOSE AND TROUBLESHOOT HOSPITAL SCANNERS WITH A COMMON DESKTOP. THE GOAL IS FOR THE CUSTOMERS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR SYSTEM UPTIME AND SAVE ON EXPENSIVE DOWNTIME AND
ON-SITE VISITS.

We just received notification that our customer has another installation in Arcadia, CA installed by Christmas.

The work has to be done Mon-Fri during normal business hours. Typical install takes 4-6 hours (This is a one Day assignment )

Here are the requirements for skillset and equipment:

Understanding of basic networking and IP addressing

Some UNIX experience

Some vi editor experience

A laptop with a 9-pin serial port (or a USB-to-serial adapter)

A Null modem cable (9-pin female to 9-pin female =E2=80=93 assuming COM port on laptop is standard 9-pin male)

Cell phone (Note: no reimbursement is available for use of cell phone during the engagement)

Ability to work independently while faithfully following step by step instructions
