Sr. Applications Administrator (Unix/Oracle Financial)JOB DESCRIPTION: This person administrates enterprise applications, and is a subject matter expert in:Control-M enterprise batch job management, (+2,000 jobs daily). UNIX script management. Oracle Purchasing module support . ERP code promotion process. ERP application user support. ERP user access and responsibilities management (+300 users). Add-hoc report generation DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify, investigate and correct data processing discrepancies within Oracle ERP financial modules and other corporate applications. (40% of duty). Manage the corporate production-scheduling application (Control-M), and Unix scripts. This application is critical to daily business operations, +2,000 jobs / day, +4,000 jobs / weekend. Detailed knowledge of Control-M and ERP batch job processing is necessary. (40% of duty). Administrate user moves / adds / changes to corporate ERP applications. Including Oracle, Vista, Discoverer, ESP+, Vista reporting, SalesForce.com, version control (PVCS), etc. (20% of duty). Three to six years (ERP job scheduling / creating / managing). ERP batch-job administration / creation (Control-M), UNIX scripting skills, X-Windows, Oracle ERP application & system administration responsibility & PO module, SQL/PLSQL,change control, code promotion, data retrieval, version control, Toad, MS Office, MS Windows. SalesForce.com knowledge or experience is a plus.
