Description
CONSULTING POWER SYSTEMS ENGINEER – Propose and design INDUSTRIAL POWER DISTRIBUTION configurations at voltage levels from 345 kV to 480V, including primary substations, transformers, switchgear, protective relaying, motor control, and power system compensation. Must have experience with North American codes and standards, including NEC, ANSI/IEEE, UL, NEMA and OSHA, and experience performing power system studies, including short-circuit, load-flow, protective device coordination, harmonic, and arc flash. Responsibilities include proposal support, selection and recommendation of power system solutions, creating power system single-line diagrams and specifications and schematics, and evaluating and selecting equipment. Experience in metal rolling, municipal water system, marine and/or oil and gas pipeline applications desirable. Education: BSEE/MSEE. Professional Engineering (PE) license desirable but not required.
