The Systems/Hardware Technician will join the Parking maintenance Support Team at the ACS Norcross, GA office, providing hardware technical support for both in-house as well as nation wide airport clients and remote field service operations.
Will perform the following activities:


Hardware technical support of in-house training and in-process testing. Parking Revenue Control System (PRCS) equipment.
Harware technical support for 20 airport client and 60 field support personnel.
Assist in preparing Factory Acceptance Testing of new product delivery.
Troubleshoots hardware related equipment failures and identifies network related problems when they relate to parking lane equipment and computer workstations.
Requires PC experience in a LAN environment with a strong understanding of MS Windows operating system(s) and all MS Office related applications.
This position may involve some travel, in support of on-site maintenance of new and existing customers.
Responds to customer and internally originated service calls.
Performs routine preventative maintenance.
Performs routine corrective maintenance.
Light administrative duties.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and Typical Years of Experience

Hardware Certification and 3 to 5 years hands on experience troubleshooting PC and network equipment.

Special Requirements:

Reliable transportation and valid legal permit to operate a motor vehicle.
Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
