Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Systems Integration Senior Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is focused on service delivery of infrastructure, including network, servers, desktops, and voice/cabling to International customer field/office sites, as well as potential ongoing support at the site. These activities will be directed by a support organization of technical experts - candidate will be the smart ?eyes and hands forward acting on behalf of the technical teams setting/maintaining the standards?.

Candidate will have matrix reporting role, both to the client as well as the IS delivery team. Candidate will help define business needs, propose solutions after consulting with delivery team leadership, and to help coordinate delivery of IT services. Candidate must be entrusted to develop solid relationships with client, and possibly country/government staff.

As a primary point of contact at the site, this individual will need to be a team leader, as well as perform traditional site support duties when required, providing eyes and ears forward for a greater domestic U.S. - based IT delivery team. This individual will be expected to quickly learn the standards that exist and implement/relay them to the business project team.

Additional duties will include support for any ad hoc/expedited requests that pertains to user support, LAN/WAN support, and server support.

Candidate must pass technical interview, account team interview, as well as Executive Interview.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing directly with the client (primarily with mid/senior level managers).

  • Strong customer relations management

  • Solid Communications, Desktop & infrastructure

  • Willingness to travel abroad, probably 75%+


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in combining formal project management with technical consultation on infrastructure/mobilization projects.

  • Experience in the engineering & construction industry

  • Experience in system implementations (Desktop Applications, Converged Network Services, Wintel Administration and support)

  • Skilled at work process streamlining and automation as well as integrating systems

  • Experience with data communications - VSAT, Voice (TDM, VoIP), Video, Cabling

  • Experience with new office setups

  • Knowledge managing/delivering IP Telephony and/or VOIP projects preferred

  • Experience with preparing and presenting project plans to managers and executives, as well as the ability to conduct business meetings

  • Strong team building and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) also required


*NOTE: Extensive travel required (over 75%); mostly abroad.
