Description:
You will join our clients IT Tools team responsible for building
automation into various administration tasks, as well as providing monitoring and trending data for various groups within the company. In addition, there will be a fair amount of work in creating and managing various web base forms as required.

Responsibilities Include:

- Work as part of the team to develop and implement monitoring and automation software.
- Work with other groups (sysadmin, netadmin, dba, application) to help define and develop automation proccesses, and to fulfill monitoring requirements.
- Participate in evaluation and selection of technology and software products.
- Leading projects, including writing detailed technical and architectural specifications.

Experience:
Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience working with Perl
- Strong OO Perl, HTML, JavaScript skills
- Experience using other administrative languages (Tcl, Shell, Ruby)
- Experience in Unix System Administration
- Experience working in a 7x24 Operations environment
- Experience with various revision control systems: Perforce, CVS, RCS.
- Extensive experience with configuration management tools like cfengine
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them
- A solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system
- A solid understanding of security concepts
- A Solid understanding of TCP/IP and how IP devices communicate
- Experience with Apache modules and configuration
- Experience with Microsoft platforms
- Experience with automating Active Directory tasks a plusdf-tc
