JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS

Administers the conversion process and associated designs through to implementation. The Technical Developer - Conversions will prepare the conversion design; and, will administer its construction and implementation. The Technical Developer - Conversions will perform data mapping from the legacy systems to the target Oracle database. He/she will coordinate the conversion application development effort. The Technical Developer - Conversions will conduct viability testing of the developed conversion application; and, when needed, will make changes/enhancements to developed conversion application. The Technical Developer - Conversions will configure developed software using integrated configuration software. The Technical Developer - Conversions will educate testers and trainers in conversion process and perform other duties as may be requested.

6. Mentor other team members on advanced techniques


QUALIFICATIONS

1. College Degree: Math; Computer Science; Information Technology or a related field.
2. Experience: converting legacy data.
3. Experience: performing Business Process analysis.
4. Experience: preparing technical designs.
5. Experience: integrating legacy systems to web based systems.
6. Experience: converting applications.
7. Technically proficient: developing applications.
8. Technical proficiency: J2EE, JavaScript, Servlets, Oracle PL/SQL


QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED A PLUS - preferred but ''not'' required

1. Technical proficiency: distributed development; frameworks; SQL, MQ Series; AutoSys; Web Services.
2. Professional Certifications: ACM, IEEE, BCS, SCJP, OCP, SSGB
