As a Technical Analyst you would be responsible for aiding the development and maintenance of our www.BiggestBook.com site and other marketing applications.

Responsibilities include:

Working with a project team on modifications, updates, and new business development

Technical Mentoring - Provide mentoring to the rest of the team in area of expertise

Interacting with internal business customers to define requirements and design technical
solutions to meet their requirements

Manage inter-system type projects coordinating the efforts of both internal and external resources.

Plan work schedules, allocate resources, manage project budget and communicate project issues, assumptions.

Develop, document and thoroughly test deliverables

Design and Develop new java based applications

Works with business users to capture the business requirements. Is able to then formulate a technical design and approach to meet these requirements while staying within the applicable architectural guidelines.

Provide Operational support and enhance existing marketing applications.

Specific Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related Technical degree

3 – 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE/Web Applications Development

3 – 5 years of experience in XML/XSD development and knowledge of various XML Parsers

1 – 2 years of experience in MVC Framework, EJB’s Servlets, JSP

3 – 5 years of experience in XML, OO Design and UML

Knowledge and experience in the following: Web based applications- J2EE, Database(SQL tables), Web Development and Java Technologies

Sun Java Certification strongly preferred.

Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project are required.df-tc
