Description
A client of ours, with key operations in middle Tennessee, is searching for a candidate to fulfill the role of Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Support of a corporate Lotus/Notes Domino server environment on R6 while upgrading to R8 (This client is running Windows 2003 and migrating to AIX).
  • Support of MS Exchange and Domino environment running BinaryTree utility for coexistence of legacy mail.Support of base product and related software running in domestic and global data centers and remote servers (190 servers); Support all product upgrades and patches to all servers; Support of the Corporate Email and application infrastructure including Internet mail.
  • Upgrading servers, software, and maintaining backup and recovery procedures as well as monitoring servers for hardware break-fix and coordinating problems with centralized help desk.
  • Optimizing server and application performance, capacity planning analysis on hardware and storage system.
  • Supporting day-to-day Incidents relating to messaging.
  • Providing On-call availability 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to address major issues as necessary.

Experience/Skills
To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:

  • A 4-year degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or Information Technology or equivalent, related work experience.
  • 3+ years experience supporting Notes/Domino Windows server environment.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills on internal and external (Internet) email systems.
  • Advanced trouble shooting of Notes/Domino server environments.
  • Strong hardware configuration and troubleshooting skills including SAN storage.
  • Solid understanding and support of large DNS, WINS, and DHCP networks.
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (instant messaging) preferred.
  • Notes/Domino certification preferable.
