Key responsibilities include:

? Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and support tasks needed to develop and maintain IBM main frame COBOL and DB2. (DB2 used as data source to intranet applications. Ability to work with both intranet and mainframe desired.)


? Solid programming and debugging fundamentals plus ability to multitask across multiple technologies is crucial.

? Accountable for understanding the business needs of the organization and translating those needs into technological systems designs specifications and solutions.

? Work with business partners analyze, design, develop, implement and integrate moderate to complex business systems that will support Humana's business objectives.

? Understand Humana's IT organization, methods, policies and technical environment to effectively and efficiently complete assignments in accordance with established procedures.


Qualified candidates must have:

? Minimum education level of Bachelors of Science, Computer Science or equivalent.

? Minimum of 5 years IT related work experience.

? Ability to write specification for both on-line and Batch Programsdf-tc
