Description
Being responsible for implementation of all hardware or software upgrades and maintenance as assigned; hardware and the software Systems Administration day-to-day support tasks as assigned. Coordinating the upgrade or patching OS software on all platforms; Installing and performing maintenance on various Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software products made by various suppliers. Dealing with various COTS suppliers on technical, installation, licensing and support issues. Attending meetings, as required. Performing network and system performance monitoring, analysis and tuning; Troubleshooting and working with users. Review and update established local processes and procedures. Writing UNIX scripts, as needed. Participate in various Engineering IPT initiatives. Possibility that some work will be direct charge to contract. Job Qualifications: Bachelors degree ***DOD Secret Cearance Required. Must have good knowledge of Sun/Solaris and SGI/IRIX operating Systems. ***Required: Candidate must be U.S. Citizen. ***Required: Candidate must have passed Certified Drug Test and Background Check prior to start date.
