BayForce Technology Solutions is seeking a Vice-President of Supply Chain Operations for our client in New York City. This is a full-time opportunity with our client.

This position will provide leadership to the IS Application team supporting the Operations and Product Design teams. The primary responsibility of the individual in this position is to establish/maintain a partnership between IS and the business units, acting as a single point of customer service for all IS-related activities. The individual in this position will leverage the IS/business partnership to drive all activities of the IS Supply Chain Team, while providing input/influence to the activities and direction of the overall IS Application and Technology Teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight responsibility for the daily activities of the IS Supply Chain Team
Plan Operations and Product Design related projects and support
Budget responsibility for the above projects and support
Partner with business leaders in the Operations and Product Design areas
Direct and indirect support for Hong Kong and European Services
Develop and retain staff within the IS Supply Chain Team

Dimensions

This position will direct a team of approximately 15 IS professionals plus
5 -15 temporary resources, providing systems support for more than 250 end users located in the US, Europe, Asia and Japan. A total budget responsibility of approximately $6-8MM represents 20-35% of the total IS Application budget.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

This position involves identifying and developing business/systems solutions to complex problems which will often involve technical, organizational and process components. Efficient decision making along with effective communication and presentation are also a requirement.
