Description
Robert Half Technology is currently with a company located in West Houston to find a VP of IT. The person will be responsible for the vision, leadership, planning and management of the company's IT staff and technology (infrastructure, applications, and data) portfolio. Key responsibilities include the following:- Establish and ensure execution of IT projects and the IT project portfolio- Lead IT operational and strategic planning to prioritize IT initiatives, and coordinate the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.- Responsible for maintaining systems and technology for the business including, vendor management, business resumption/disaster recovery planning, testing, system performance and system availability. Oversee specific IT functional responsibilities including Systems Support, Applications Development (Full Life Cycle), Project Management, Business/Process Analysis, Internet Development, Systems & Data Security, Reporting/Data Warehousing, Systems and Data Center Operations.- Oversees the administration and maintenance of hardware, WANs, LANs computer processing units, operating software and applications software.- Ensures compliance of the IT systems with the Company’s policy and regulatory requirements.- Development and management of IT budget, including development of proposals with appropriate business justification, solution alternatives, cost-benefit analyses, ROI projections, expense control, etc.If qualified, please contact Brandon Riley at brandon.riley@rht.com immediately.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Qualified candidates will have the following:- Strong applications skills especially as it relates to ERP systems exploitation- Strong experience in infrastructure elements such as datacenters and networking. - Strong track record of tactical execution- Experience in integration of disparate companies and systems and will have a - Must have a demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff; establish priorities; and forecast and manage IT costs across a global enterprise.
