Description
Web Analyst (engineer) position will be responsible for supporting web services on servers and devices used by the client to meet business needs. The Web Analyst will be involved in the testing and migration of changes to production. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • 24x7 support of client products production environment;
  • support of development and staging environments for web applications;
  • deploying application changes to production;
  • monitoring web servers for intrusion detection;
  • applying security related patches to web related services;
  • production of reports related to web activity;
  • evaluation and installation of 3rd party products on servers;
  • administration of web and application services;
  • troubleshooting technical issues in a variety of environments

    Experience/Skills
    • Apache and IIS administration
    • Relational database exp.
    • Experience with web page development
    • Experience with Linux and / or Windows server administration
    • Knowledge of or experience with web application development languages (JSP, Java, Cold Fusion, ASP)
    • Experience with TCP/IP and networking
    • Experience with Scripting languages (Perl)
    • Experience in developing policies and standards
    • Experience with Sybase, DB2, MySql
    • Experience administering WebSphere applications
