ACS Government Health Care is seeking candidates with experience in large scale government health care engagements. We offer the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art based technology and with other highly skilled professionals on projects that will change the way business is conducted and services are rendered.

Develop front-end application functionality for large scale healthcare web-based system. Will be responsible for translating requirements into working fully-designed HTML page prototypes. Responsible for supporting system implementation teams for client-specific modifications to front-end functionality and to support the development of the full-scale application.

REQUIRED:
(MINIMUM)

1. Extensive experience with HTML (3-4 Years), must be able to hand code and to troubleshoot
2. Experience and strong working knowledge of CSS
3. JavaScript experience
4. DHTML experience
5. Ability to draw from experience to apply best-practices to web design
6. Experience with web development IDE tools (Dreamweaver, etc.)
7. Familiarity with Section 508 Standards
8. Familiarity with W3CAG Accessibility Guidelines
9. Experience using Source Code Control Management tools (CVS) - experience working in a multi-developer environment with version and source control processes
10. Attention to detail

PREFERRED:
1. AJAX
2. Understanding of JSP-based application design principles, previous experience working on a JAVA/J2EE application as a front-end developer

EDUCATION AND TYPICAL WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. BS or equivalent degree in a related field
2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working on front-end development of web applications
