Programmer Skills: Ajax, JavaScript, Jasper Reports, Open Source, CSS, XHTML, SQL, MySQL, Linux, Java, Ruby, Python, Perl, C Date: 3-24-2008 Location: Norcross, GA Area code: 770 Tax term: 3-Month - Hire Contract. Full-time Salary after 3 months will be 40000-45000.Experience working with Ajax (outside of the built-in support in ASP.NET) and specifically Javascript. Experience with Jasper Reports preferred. Experience in Open Source, possibly a contributor a big plus. Experience with international applications and the difficulties working with them (language support for data entry, speed optimization, keyboard layouts, etc.) Web security experience SkillsBasic web design knowledge (CSS, XHTML, the DOM, etc.) SQL and at least basic relational database knowledge (Access doesn't count, MySQL preferable) At least 1 year experience with web applications, preferably working on several different web sites. Familiarity with working with code repositories, who understands the concepts (such as code checkout) and can list those they have worked with. Ability to work in a Linux environment. Familiarity with W3C standards, browser compatibility and the tools used to test for this. Working in several different programming languages, and learning new ones. Looking especially for the following: Java, Ruby, Python, Perl, C.
