Interested in a long term (up to 15 month) contract and could turn into a direct hire for a large well known, award winning entertainment company?

The Flash Developer is called upon to develop new Flash-based technologies for planned or existing sites. This candidate should have exceptional technical skills, proven people and teamwork skills and communication skills.

This candidate should excel in all components of the Flash development skill set, as well as the Web Development skill set including: HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, site maintenance and troubleshooting.

This candidate should have the ability to deliver projects successfully and on time with little oversight required.

Experience/Skills
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

. 4 years experience designing complex applications in Flash

. 4 years of Object Oriented ActionScript experience

. Solid working experience with the latest Flash and related technologies: Flex, Remoting, etc.

. 4 years experience with consuming XML within Flash

. 4 years experience in working with and creating dynamically generated variable SWF files

. 4 years experience working with Audio assets within flash, related to ActionScript events/user interactions

. Expert experience in documenting Flash functionality

. Experience in manipulating image files for use in Flash, with image optimization

. Experience in working with Content Management Systems in relation to Flash

. Strong experience in bandwidth optimization of SWFs and related assets

. At least 4 years of commercial flash development experience

. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Flash and AS 2.0 and master fundamentals of AS 3.0

. Experience in medium/large-scale web projects

. Up to date with latest technologies and innovative solutions to problems

. Attention to detail, unit testing, debugging, writing clean code and developing optimized sites

. Senior level skills in building dynamic, interactive web applications including: OOP, functions, arrays, prototyping, sending and loading XML, remoting, SOAP based web services, coding in multiple levels, etc.
