Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced Perl Developer to join a cutting-edge web development team in Raleigh.

Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing new functionality within the existing system.
The candidate must have a B.S. (or equivalent) in computer science, along with 5 to 8 years of relevant application development experience (in C/C++, Java, etc.) and demonstrated skills in Linux, Perl,, and MySQL.
Knowledge in web technologies (Apache, HTML, Mason, AJAX) an advantage.
The candidate will collaborate with other developers and must be able to enhance and enforce good development cycle practices and design patterns.
The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and good code documentation habits.
Demonstrated critical-thinking, problem-solving, and goal-setting skills are required. Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment under tight resource and schedule restrictions preferred.
