CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for a Web Developer


Description:

Web Developer to build new intranet applications and modify existing intranet applications.

Midrange environment includes Sybase ASE/IQ database backend.

Must be familiar with SQL, stored procedures, relational databases and J2EE web application development on a Solaris environment.

Significant experience (2+ years) with J2EE application development using Eclipse and deploying to Websphere 5.x or 6.x.

Experience with Cold Fusion MX or other web technologies is a plus.

Experience with Perl, shell scripting, CVS are nice to have.

Experience with Risk Management business is a plus.
SAS and .NET Experience a plus.


Position Requirements:

Develops program specifications/detail design documents.

Participate in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques.

Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical leader or analyst.

Develops prototypes from functional specifications.
Designs application sub-systems and small systems.
Develops program specifications/detail design documents.
Participate in the development of functional specifications.
Codes, tests, and debugs complex application programs.
Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations.

Demonstrates an understanding of object oriented development tools and techniques, has worked on multiple platforms and/or with multiple methodologies.df-tc
