Primary Duties

The Webmaster is responsible for independently managing all technical and graphics-related aspects of our client's Web sites, including HTML coding, user interface, multimedia/interactive content, application development, database construction and maintenance. He/She will communicate to the Executive Director and ensure consistency, relating to style and content, among these sites. This position will develop new Web site features to meet the association's evolving business needs, such as dashboards, animated graphics and other visual devices to accompany text material. The webmaster also consults with the Executive Director to develop a Web presence that helps meet their strategic objectives, and establishes processes for placing and updating content. When necessary, the webmaster trains individuals on the technical aspects related to the Web sites. He/She will also produce news graphics for print purposes, events, tournaments and other needs of the association. This position is a liaison to many committees within a large non-profit organization, so good people skills are a must. Ability to work with multi-language copy a plus.

Minimum Requirements
. Experience creating, maintaining and redesigning a Web site - primarily a new or informational website
. Two years' experience using an HTML editor - preferably Macromedia Studio, MS.net (and related Contribute)
. Two years' experience using Macromedia Flash for animated graphics and action scripting
. Two years' experience working with HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP (and/or ASP.NET), VBScript and Java Script
. Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
. Familiarity with audio-video software and other Web technologies
. Familiarity with creating SQL Server, Informix, Access and/or Oracle databases
. Strong written, Interpersonal and negotiation skills
. Ability to synthesize key elements of a new story and communicate them graphically
. Ability to communicate technical needs of development projects
. Ability to work effectively under pressure, on several projects at once and meet deadlines
. Detail oriented
. Regular and predictable attendance, also must be present during core business hours (9am-5:30pm)
. College degree or equivalent experience
. Authorization to work in the United States
. Minimum age of 18

Preferred Qualifications
. Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
. Experience creating graphics for Websites and print publications
. Experience with DotNetNuke websites is a plus.
